Finally, we are going to order the materials for Broccoli's C&C cage :D
My mum is a bit concerned though because we have some friends and family who come over with toddlers and dogs and we wanna make sure he is safe.

How should we go about making a lid? Should we just use 6 grids (it's a 2x3) and tie them together with cable ties, or will this not work?
Are there any alternative lids I can make?

Thanks in advance xD

Oh and one more thing - if we moved him instead of making a lid, is it easy to move if we don't have grids on the bottom?

Closet shelving makes an awesome lid. It's sturdy enough to hold other animals that might jump on it, and easy to clamp down so that small inquisitive fingers can't open the latch. Home improvement centers will cut it to the right length for you.

Did a quick Google for that but I can't find it on any English sites, or much similar. Is it easy to make a top with the grids?

Thanks for the help :) Ended up making it with grids, and it's turned out fine.
