Hi,
I was petting Molly (I think she is pregnant) and I noticed a rough spot on her back. I took a picture of the scab. Is there something wrong or is it normal?

All I can say is that is not normal.

I'm not an expert but I think it is more then likely mites.

I noticed a bumpy/rough part on her a few days ago. It wasn't a scab yet. I noticed that she was trying to bite near her behind area and my girlfriend said today that she noticed Molly scratching more. I think it's probably mites. She hasn't really lost a lot of hair if any yet. I notice a little bit of hair gone, but I don't know if it's normal or not.

Guinea pigs losing hair as far as I know is not normal, I'd treat for mites.
If she doesn't have mites it wont hurt her, any way.

It might be mites, but if you have other pigs and they fight there will be a 50% chance it could be fighting, and 50% chance of mites.

She may or may not have mites, and the itching would suggest that she does, but that picture doesn't look like a problem caused by mites. Is the area under it red or swollen at all? Does it seem like there's any pus under it? Is she housed with another pig?

For the itching, I'd treat her with ivermectin. See https://www.guinealynx.info/mites.html and follow the links for ivermectin. You can get it locally from a feed store, or order it from (broken link removed). The marketplace has pour-on, which is easier for newbies to deal with. You also need 1 cc. syringes without needles to measure the dose.

Is that area the ONLY spot of hair loss?

I do believe it wouldn't hurt to do an ivermectin treatment on her. Otherwise it looks like a small wound from an irritated piggy nip.
