I didn't know where to put this.
They aren't breeders, but read the description!
(broken link removed)
So sad. ):
They act like they are toys.

"We are done playing wth them and would like to get new type of pets. And in order to get the new pets I would like to charge a $80 rehoming fee"
Ugh! It makes me so mad!
Just because they're small doesn't mean they don't have feelings!
Whatever pet they get next, they will get bored with too!:(

Oh dear, should we count the ways that ad is just plain wrong?

1. Cedar bedding
2. Small cage
3. Done playing with them/dump for new pet
4.Unsure of sex.
5. Petsmart buy

I'd even be willing to give them credit for at least charging a rehoming fee but they made it clear that the fee was so they could buy a new pet, not to deter snake owners. Those poor babies! I hope for their sake that someone responsible comes along to give them a forever home.

Would someone in or near Baton Rouge be willing to rescue those little ones even just to foster for a bit. I'm thinking they are probably unsocialized and likely underweight. We certainly don't want to encourage this kind of recklessness with that person's pets but I hate to think what kind of fate will befall them if they don't end up in the hands of a responsible person.

I actually live an hour away, but tbh, I'm not and can't as I'm 15, pay $80.
Just like in a pets store, I'm not going to give them my money.
I feel bad for the pigs, but I'm not going to help pay for their new pet.
What sick people.

Maybe you could negotiate getting the pigs without the set up for a few dollars, then they could sell the gear separately.

I don't even ... why ... Ugh. smh.

What horrible lesson are these people teaching their children, that pets are simply toys to throw away when they become boring?
If these pigs are "boring," it's a dysfunction of the pigs' parents, not a fault of the pigs themselves. They're going to continue to get bored with every new pet because THEY are the problem. Not the animals.

Flagged this one. Another fine example of a 'person' who should not keep critters.

Within a few months, if not sooner, this family's next pet will be advertised on Craigslist too.

Oh jeez. I'm hoping maybe they are just dumb and can't express themselves properly. Hopefully someone will get those piggies out of there. I understand not wanting to encourage this behavior, but it's not the piggies' fault.

I used to know someone who adopted a puppy from a shelter and returned it in a week. Interviews only go so far; you can't see into people's hearts.

I'll see if they mark down the price for me. I am looking for a pair, I'd just hate to pay for another unloved pet.

Those imo are the BEST pets to pay for. Knowing that one who is unloved will be going to a forever home with good care is worth every $ imo.

I think katherine meant they will use the money to get another pet they won't love.
