Ramps Ideas for Traction on Ramps

Have been searching for ideas looking in the galleries & previous threads, so thought I'd share the compiled list here in case it helps others, still undecided on what we are going to use...

Ideas for traction covering on ramps:
* fleece / vetbed
* rubber matting / rubber bath mat
* shelf liner
* carpet / (door) mat / rug
* 3M traction tape / carpet tape
* vinyl or rubber stair treads (ribbed type) & indoor/outdoor carpet tape
* lino

Things to consider:
* ease of cleaning (eg: can attach/detach to wash/clean if necessary)
* chewing
* how it is attached (eg: velcro/clips/non-toxic glue)

I use a thing called Plast-O-Mat, you should add it to the list.

Another suggestion is using a piece of Yoga mat. It has great traction and a lot of them have built in anti-microbial and you just take it out and give it a wash when you feel its needed.

Thanks spy9doc, I didn't look at that thread as the title was about 're-inforcing coroplast ramps' which is un-related to what I was looking for, so will take a look now.
