They are in a petstore cage, that is the size between the minimum for two and the preferred for two. I am working on getting them a bigger cage and maybe getting me another master. Three will keep this slave plenty busy!

I've got a petstore cage around that size as well, so I use it as a back up cage it's really helpful!

Sadly a proper C&C cage is not an option. I have finally found a company that sells coroplast, though it is called differently here, but the wire cubes are just a pain the come by. Found one site that has them but they are expensive.
Will know more about the coroplast tomorrow. Planning on a cage with inner measurements of 140cm x 92cm, fitting the playpen I now have around their cage.

I have seen a cage somewhere on here made out of wired shelves... a possible alternative.

This is it. It was quite difficult to handle the coroplast, not sure how long the corners will hold. It looked totally big, but now that my masters are occupying the cage, it looks small. Still it is a proper 140 x 90cm cage.

The herd has grown (we are now at full capacity).

According to her previous owner (not a slave, though Lani wasn't treated badly, she did have a planned litter and the pups were given to a petstore to sell) she will turn one next week.


Upon introduction some fur went flying and I had never seen pigs lunge (sp?) at each other, but apart from a little squabling every once in a while, all is good!
