This abcess is located more towards his rear and is biggining to become a large hole I don't want it to get infected what should I put on it

Are you sure it isn't his grease gland?
If it's an abscess, you'll need to take him to the vet. They'll give you something to keep it cleaned out, and antibiotics. Abscesses have to heal from the inside out -- if they scab over, they just get worse and worse.
