Upper Levels Loft, or no loft ?

Should i keep the 2x1 hay loft i have made for my 2x7 C&C cage , or shall i simply put hay into a hamster cage bottom ?? I havent got any gpigs yet for the cage ( will be getting 2 females) , so dont know if they will get exhausted running up and down the ramp, plus the cage is quite big. Thanks for any advice.

I have 4 guinea pigs in a 2x7. I like the lofts.

keep the loft!! my girls love running up and down the ramp....with another members advice, i bought shelving brackets at the local hardware store for support....worked great!

I would keep it I love ours. Its really the only messy part of the cage.
