I have heard of a few people leaving literature PetSmart and PETCO. I was at my local PetSmart and noticed that they have a sign expressesedly forbiding such things. Is that normal or is my PetSmart (or Canadian PetSmarts in general) just wierd?

If not, how do people get away with leaving GL care sheets at PetSmart?

I have never seen those signs in a Petco or Petsmart before. Maybe if they got their act together people wouldn't have to.

I leave literature in the library books.

They are probably afraid of getting sued or something since it could be construed that they are giving it out......even if it is the right info. LOL

I lost quite a bit of faith in our humane society when I adopted Kero. They couldn't find the right paper work, thier web site's animal listings are outdated and (broken link removed) is the care sheet.

Edit: I should add that he is healthier and hardier then my PetSmart pigs. He's also more social in many ways. And it's not thier fault he's a complete ditz. I would adopt from them again as we have no rescues I can find out here, but I would treat it as a buyer beware situation.

I laughed as I read it while waiting for my number to be called. It is truly pathetic.

Almost as pathetic as the fact that they had an intact boar in with three females. I e-mailed them to let them know the mix up and they never got back to me.

I think these are his pups. They look very much like his sisters. The dark one looks kinda like the one side of him. His mother was an american.

Here's Kero:

Here's the baby boars:

They are the right age. His mother seemed quite pregnant when we got him. That was back in early april.

They are cute. I so want to go back and adopt the dark one, but my husband says no. :(
