Hair Loss hard hair is now missing hair?

I realized a couple days ago pip had somewhat of a cowlick near his eye and it was hard not like rock hard, but seemed like if you drool on your hair and it gets all gross... lol
anyways i just dismissed it >.< and today i realized he has some sort of sore there and there is no more hair, its a verry small sore looks like a scabed over bugbite, but its really small,
anyway here are some photos,
My boyfriend and I are going to take him to the vet just in case but i wanted to know your guy's opinions.

Do you have another pig in the same cage? A male? It could be boar glue.

yeah both pigs are males.
what about the sore though? could it be because of it sticking together?

Could be that he scratched the boar glue off and it pulled the skin off with it. The fact that you said "hard" makes me think boar glue. Or it could be a small fungus infection. I can't really tell from the picture.

ill keep an eye on him if it dosnt look better within the week the ill take him to the vet, however my concern is now directed twords my mouse, who apparently scratched his WHOLE ear off this weekend, it's literally just a hole in his head now,
he will be using our vet money tomarrow to see what's up with his ear.
