What is your experince with hammocks?

My girls have a corner hammock from (broken link removed) that they use sometimes. Treacle likes catapulting off it. I suppose it depends what kind of hammock it is

I've only had two weeks of experience with it but I got a ferret hammock and my pig loves hiding under it if I hang it low enough. I've also filled it with hay and it worked well for that, I may actually just fold it and hang it from a wall and use it as a hay trough

My pigs didn't use their hammock at all. It was made with some type of lambs wool, which I thought they would like to lay on, so I just cut off the ends that hang it up, and laid it on the floor of the cage, now they love it, and lay on it a lot.

My pigs don't know how to use hammocks and much prefer beds and cozies. It kind of depends on the guinea pig. You can definitely try with your pigs and see how they take to them!

My 4 piggies also do not like their hammock. They have never used it and don't even like hiding under it.

When I had my last piggies,I had a couple of them! they did not like them. I made them so maybr thats why, (haha) but they never laid in them or anything. they liked their beds, and cuddle cups better.

I bought a 'large' one from FuzziesKingdom and they just adore it. Bit too cold now for them to use it (winter here) so they've got cuddle sacks and huts instead of hammocks.

so i guess i will try to make a homemade one for a test trail before a waste my money
on something they might not like.
