You can leave it the way it is, the whole point of coroplast is to protect the floor or table from urine. The benefit of having sides is that the bedding and poop doesn't get flung out of the cage. Did you check the phone book? I find it hard to believe there aren't any sign stores in Manhattan. Worst case scenario, maybe you can take a bus or subway to the sign store closest to you-Queens or Brooklyn?, to get some coroplast one weekend, or have someone mail it to you, or order it on-line. Ordering on-line is very exspensive, tho'. I googled sign stores:https://www.google.com/#hl=en&sclie...,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=de3065b969a4344

O. The store will score it, or roll it, so it's easier to carry, or will fit in a car. Don't worry about the size. Also, if you measure VERY CAREFULLY, most stores will cut the sheet to size. It's hard to lay the full sheet down at home and cut it straight. If you pay for the full sheet, I'd take the remnants home, too. You never know what ideas you can come up with for remnants.

It is plenty big you won't even need the whole thing. A 4x8 is a full sheet.

What do you mean by "hard"? Have you checked out how to make the C&C cage? It tells you how to cut, score, etc.
