I'm new to SketchUp, so please forgive the crude drawing. I'm looking for a wire J Clip (I believe it's called) that I can zip tie the longer flat side on side and use the other rounded part to catch onto the other grid when it's closed. Does anything like this exist? I've seen plenty of ones with holes and such, but none of them would zip tie on nicely and allow for fluid movement. Also, the width has to be less than 1/2", as that's the spacing of my grids.

Do you have any experience with these? I'd love to know if they'd work for the 6mm wire.

I don't have any experience with them. From the pic in the link that Petlovr posted, they look pretty secure. They're not that expensive, you could order some and try?

I don't mind buying them to try out, but it's worth the $10 to try to find someone that's used them before. Anyone? Any takers? No? Well, poo.

Are you using this for a door? Have you seen this gallery? Might give you more ideas.

Many people use binder clips or carabiner clips for doors.

Unfortunately, even the smallest binder clip is larger than the 1/2". I use them on all my other cages, but this one has the 1/2" spacing.

Here's a better picture of what I'm looking for, but I'm looking for just a wire outline of the shape..

Hmm, those are a bit expensive to use for "mass production", though they are a possibility. Thanks for finding those!
