We're building a C&C cage (again) and I have a question about which would be the best option. I know that the bigger we can make it, the better but we're limited on how long vs how high and I wanted to get some feedback before cutting into our coro.
I have the space to do a 2X4 but it would take up every single inch of space I have. If I did the 2X4 I could do a 1X2 loft possibly a 2X2 but no larger.
The other option is to do a 2X3 on the bottom and a 2X3 on the top as well, which we have the space to do.
The reason we wouldn't be able to do a 2X4 with a 2X4 top is lack of cubes, plus we're restricted on one side of how high I can go because of other things in the area.
We have two female pigges, one is 5 weeks old the other is 7 weeks on Saturday. Plus we plan on using fleece bedding.
Any input would be extremely appreciated. Thanks guys.
