i'm trying to figure out what to do about the coroplast. my current 2x4 has the coroplast bottom. when i add grids to increase to 2x5, how do i handle the coroplast bottom? do i undo the 2x4 bottom, buy additional coroplast to fit the additional space, and somehow tape the 2 pieces of coroplast together? (does that make sense?) or do i just have to suck it up and buy one new piece of coroplast to fit the 2x5 cage? any suggestions would be great!!

You can keep the old coro and tape an extra piece onto it. I always get new coroplast when I change my cage because I can get them for $10.
You could also keep the 2x4 tray as it is and make another 1x2 tray for a kitchen area.

And check with the place where you get your coroplast and see if they have scrap pieces for free.
I was blessed to find some that way once.

The place I get my coro has given me free 2x3 ft sheets. They are perfect size for 1x2 trays.
