I adopted two piggies maple, and peaches. First time having guinea pigs. Read alot bout them and they seemed very interesting so I decided on gettin them. So glad I did cuz my two piggies are the cutest and sweetest lil girls. Had them for a month now made a c&c cage 2x4 and they r lovin it. Peaches was sleeping on my chest with her eyes close lastnite was the cutest thing ever! Maple is still a lil shy but she is slowly comin out of her shell.

Thanks for the Welcome! LOL the gender was not verified by the vet yet. I guess i'll be visiting the vet sooner then I thought! Thanks for the heads up!

Yes I checked out the photos to see if I can determine the sex of my piggies and to me its looking like they are both females phew lol. But too be sure I madee my first piggy check up for next week, im very excited to see how my girls (hopefully girls hehe) are doing! Peaches is actually looking a bit larger in her mid section then Maple is im hoping thats not because she's prego* fingers crossed* I will know soon enough

I think it's a great idea to have them vet checked for the peace of mind. They have cute names.
