Help w/ cage design
(x)(/)(/)(/)

What do you suggest for my cavies? I have four sows and one boar. I may have him neutered or may keep an eye out for a homeless boar to take in. I would like to keep them in adjacent cages. (one cc cage w/ a divider)
I can go up to 4 grids by 4 grids. My grids are 15 inches. I tried to show a design, the (x)'s are two layer so there would be ramps taking up floor space. I could put my boar in a 2 by 2 section, but that seems a little cramped, though luxurious to what he is in right now.
Maybe I could do this
(x)(x)(x)(x)
(/)(/)(/)(/)
(/)(/)
(x)(x)
and put the boar in bottom right for a total of 6 down and 2 up squares. and the girls would have an L shaped 6 down and rectangle shaped 4 up. Would this be stable? a nightmare to clean? Thanks for any feedback!
Warmly, Jody
