Just an FYI on the grids at Target, they have the 6 cube sets for $17.99, thats 23 grids. Not sure if the spacing is correct for piggies, but for my bunny they're fine and a great deal!

Unfortunately target's new grids are dangerous for piggies--I accidentally bought a ton of them, but am using them for my bunnies like you.

Oh no...=( I was hoping with the leftovers I could build a cage and get a piggie. Aren't they safe for adults thou?

At my local Target they are only selling the 5x5 grid cubes sets which is absolutely not safe for even adult piggies.

Nope, they can still get their heads stuck.

As I understood it, Target grids are 8x8 grid holes, or a mix of grids with larger holes and smaller holes. K-mart still has the 9x9s which are safe; linens N things online, Walmart online (and they will deliver to your local Walmart where you can pick them up), Amazon, and other online places. I don't understand why these 9x9 grids are not in all the stores, since they are so useful for all kinds of things.

Kmart still has the 6 cube/23 grids on sale for $15.99. I almost bought another set at Target but remember someone commenting they're unsafe.

I just bought a set from Target and they were a mix of smaller grids and bigger grids - since I was just expanding, it was ok - I just used the bigger grids to make some storage for my stuff. The smaller grids looked to be the same as the old ones I had.

The Target near me has only the 5x5 grids. The K-Mart near me has the 9x9, they are on sale now for a 6-cube set for $15.99, normally they are $19.99. I personally wouldn't even use the 5x5 grids for a bun, maybe the 8x8, but I wouldn't use them for a pig.

We couldnt use the 5 x 5 for our bun. He couls fit his head though them. But we overlapped them so the spacing was 1/2 of what it origionally was.

I couldn't find any at K-Mart or I would have gotten it from them.

Thanks for posting this about Kmart! For some reason, I hadn't even thought about them when I was trying to figure out where to buy the grids. Luckily my local store still had several boxes left at the sale price, so I now have plenty of grids to build a c&c cage!

I got my grids from target and just put chicken wire over the bigger grids so piggy can't get out or even put his head through.
