Hi from Sweden!

Hi!

I'm Petra and I've been lurking around for a while looking at all the fab cages. I'm 31 year old lawyer and have four rescue guinea pigs. Martha is a red and white four year old. Bo is a three year old neutered crested boar, Mette-Marit my two year old cream and white skittish tornado and Kid my 7 month old teenage bundle of fluff. She looks like a long haired teddy but has rosettes as well, quite unusual!

They live in my library/guest room/sewing room in a cage I built from stuff I found at the DIY store. I'm addicted to buying new fleeces for their cage and have about 20 different now...

Internet wise I hang out mostly on a UK forum, but I thought I should introduce myself here too since I have gotten so many ideas from here!

Here they are sharing a snack with two stuffed piggies a friend sent me for a present! I would love more, but don't want to crowd the cage...

The cage took me ages to build as I made everything up as I went along... A curse jar would have been very profitable during the process lol!

The bottom is like a table top with edges around to keep the hayloft structure and front fence in place. The ramp is made from the lid that came with the crate (which is an under bed storage box from IKEA), with some wood for structure.

I had a friend who spend a year over in Linköping. Small world.

And you have a lovely cage! And your little "blond" and white pig with the spot on her/his right side is nearly a twin of my Gabby. Her picture is here down in the comments:

Love your cage ( but love the pics of the piggies eating even better. The one in the middle is looking at the camera like "don't even THINK about taking the treats." lolol They really are gorgeous GPs. They look very pampered.
