Hello from Chicagoland!

Hi, my family has been planning to adopt 1-2 pigs for about 6 months, and are pro rescue. We have 3 daughters ages 3, 7, and 9, and a cat. We recently adopted a 1 year old female who is pregnant, but we don't know how far along she is. I guess the previous owner had her housed with her litter too long, and the obvious happened. Her name is Peanut, and she is so wonderful, we all love her! We plan on keeping 1 female from the litter and adopting out any others to some of my GP loving friends. This is the first Guinea Pig we have owned, and still learning about her. Excited to be on this forum, and any advice for care on our pregnant piggie is appreciated! We are building a 2x4 C&C cage next week.
