To prevent Sonic from getting hay all over the fleece, I plan on making a kitchen area by building a small barrier out of Coroplast. I keep all of his food in the second story of his cage.
Here's what it looks like:
Now, the thick red line indicates the barrier. The dotted lines show the sq cubes made by the grids and the K stands for the kitchen area.
Here's what the barrier will look like:
It'll be made from spare Coroplast. The actual kitchen area will probably be filled with either newspaper or aspen.
My concern is that Sonic will try to eat the Coroplast of the barrier. He chews on EVERYTHING plastic-y. What can I do to prevent this? I've heard of some people rubbing the off-limits items in diluted white vinegar but how often do I need to add more vinegar?
