Ratties Lavender Bedding bad for rats?

Is lavender smelling bedding bad for small animals such as rats, mice, guinea pigs, gerbils etc...

I would not use it as rodents have a very strong sense of smell and it could be too overwhelming for their sensitive noses.

I did my research before buying it and lavender is a known calming scent for animals and humans and there is no negative effects from using it with most animals and I found no negative effect for rats. I went ahead and bought this and tried it. I do not think it is worth it. It is on the expensive side for the size you get. The lavender scent is barely there. It does not help with odor at all. I think there are better options for your money then this stuff.
