Hay Is Timothy Hay Sold For Horses Ok ????

My husband stopped at a feed store yesterday and brought home a very large bag of timothy hay it says that it is chopped timothy hay that has cain molasses in it is this safe for the piggies?

I buy race horse grade timothy hay and orchard grass. I wouldn't feed with molasses though. Just plain hay.

Is the molasses extremly bad for them?

Too much, yes.

Are you talking about hay cubes?

They need plain hay anyway.

No its hay its just more chopped up instead of long pieces.I only give them the hay cubes once in a while.Could I atleast give it to them until Tuesday when I can get back to town again ?

Yeah molass is sugar, you shouldn't give it to them. That feed is meant to help bulk up horses. Guinea pigs need just plain hay.
