Hi,

Is Yesterdys News any good for guinea pigs? And if so, is it safe for them to eat if they ever happen to? Wher I live its cheap but I heard somewhere that it was the best you could get. Is that so?

Yesterdays new is ok to use. As far as being the best, it's all about what you like best (fleece, shavings or pellets). I bought some a couple weeks ago to mix with kiln dried pine. I like the mix. I bought the one in the cat litter section. It's much cheaper and the same thing.

They have a newer style thats smaller and "softer" but I couldn't find the unscented one in that style. Since they're sensitive to smells, I would stick to which ever one is unscented.

I use the YDN in my boys litter box and they don't seem to be bothering it.

Endzie- I dont really get your question, but if I understand it right you have yesterday's news mixed up with actual newspaper. Yesterdays news is a bedding. It's like compact paper in the form of a pellet.
Make sure you get the unscented kind! I kind the scented kind by mistake and put it in their litter box, within an hour one of my girls was peeing red. I took it out and it went away, she must've eaten it.

This is the same just less expensive and an extra 10lbs. It's in the cat litter section.
