C&C three piggies 2x4 2 story??

for christmas im rescuing 3 boars and i was wondering if a 2x4 cage with a second story of 2x3 is enough space or should i make the cage bigger... or should i only rescue two of the piggies?? help and advice is greatly appreciated

Upper levels do not count towards overall square footage. For 3 boars you'd need a main level of at least 2x5 or larger.

If they are a bonded trio, I wouldn't split them up. A 2 by 5 would be better.

Thank you both. They are not a bonded trio they are a pair and then one other. I dont really have space right now to go bigger so i think ill just get the duo and let someone else adopt the single boy.

I have 3 boars, aged 8 months, 6 months, and about 4 months.

They fought in a 2x5, and STILL fought in a 2 level 2x5 (with both levels being 2x5). I had to divide them into a pair and a single guy, stacked in 2x5 cages.

If the 3 are already bonded you might have better luck, but I would still go with at least a 2x5 with a loft, and be prepared to possibly increase cage space!
