This is my girls NEW cage!:cheerful: Oh, and sorry for the mess around the cage, I haven't had a chance to clean up before videoing this.

The wooden house is a funny story.
Ok, so here it goes...
I went to Michaels Craft store to see if I could find a wooden house there and there was none. Well while I was walking around I noticed a broken wooden treasure chest (you are supposed to buy them and then paint them to look like a treasure chest as a project) laying o the floor. The top was connected to the back with hinges and It must have fell off the shelf cause The lid and back that the top was attached to was broke and was almost falling off so I got a GREAT idea! I bought it (they gave me it for 30% off cause it was broke) and took it home. Took the henges off, finished pulling the back off, pulled the floor out and turned it around and henged the lid to the other side and wah-lah! A hide house with a lid that opens

Hooray for space! It's great to see them getting to run around for the first time, my new boys were so crazy when I first put them in their 3x4.

Oh wow I am going to try this idea hehe. Had to buy the last wooden hidey I got online and it cost a bit with the shipping so this would be a cheaper alternative I think! Your cage looks great by the way

Wonderful job! I'm get so jealous when I see nice open cages like yours. I love my cats but seriously hate that I have to have my cage covered because of them. Super cute piggies. I want to steal the orange & white one.

The top door was just open on the cage, I have to keep it closed too cause I have cats also.

That cage is awesome and your piggies look very happy.

Do you have a hidey for all 3 pigs? I saw the small igloo, the wooden treasure chest house (genius, by the way!) but didn't see another hidey for a 3rd pig. Each one should have one in case they need time away from each other.

Just a suggestion.

oh I was just in Michaels today!! such a great idea!!! I did see a neat wooden house with a window in blue seal, I will price that next week It would fit at least 2 piggies if they wanted to go in together. I just love watching your video and how happy the piggies are!
