Hard to tell by your pics. I used a grid and bent both sides. I Put a piece of carpet on it and then attached a piece of fabric so they wouldnt chew the carpet.

If you look through the photo galleries you can find many types of ramps. I hope you are meaning ramp instead of ladder. Ladders with open spaces or rungs can be dangerous to pigs feet.

I think that two bent grids are the best. You get a 'handrail' for protection too. Heres a pic of mine:

Perfect, Piglet! I'll get that done today! Only if we have some cable ties...^_^

-Sorry to double add, but...How do you keep the carpet and flooring to the ramps and top floors to keep them from sliding?

I put coroplast on the bottom of mine (made 3 half-cuts so it conformed to the bent grid shape), wrapped the fleece around the coroplast and used 6 binder clips to secure it.

What can I use other than choroplast? I *ahem* used it all for the cage itself, and the smallest size is in Santa Rosa (a few miles from Healdsburg) is 8x4, what else can be used?

I just lay a towel folded so its the right size on the grids and sftey pin it on a few grids.

Other ideas are a piece of carpet or cardboard with fleece on top.

I have carpet, but I need something to hold it down, because it slides around.
