Hi! I have a friend who thinks she may have a pregnant guinea pig. I've tried to search for signs on the internet and then relayed them to my friend and some do much but I don't really find many symptoms online. My friend has said she looks much bigger and she sees two ball-like things on her sides. I have yet to actually see the guinea pig but I'm slightly worried because I've read a book that a sow should be under 7 months old to be pregnant because their pelvic bones are too inflexible and could result in death. And I feel she has an even bigger chance of death because my friend say she keeps them in a small cage. I knew I should have said something to her but I don't want to seem rude seeing as she's a new friend. Don't worry, she does change the cage every 2 days because of the size. Any tips? Do you think the sow will survive?
