The girls have a habit of chewing on their pigloo, and I hadn't worried about it at first, until I noticed a small chunk of plastic missing the other day. I am so afraid they can harm themselves internally by eating it, and don't know what to do since they love their pigloo but I can't seem to get them to stop chewing on it. They are always given hay, and have a wooden thing to chew on, but for some reason they are still obsessed with chewing the pigloo. Any suggestions... would putting fleece around the sides help at all?

Yes I know what you mean. I too have a chewer but nothing bad off the igloos as of YET but that is a good question. If anybody knows, please reply. Just out of simple curiosity even since I do have ONE chewer out of 13 (she chewed holes in one of my tarps that I since replaced) so I too would like to know if some things are BAD to be chewed ON.
