Lsat night i had a dream that my new gp,theo's teeth grew together and he couldnt upon his mouth...could thhis realy happen? i know it can with mice or rats or something but could it happen to theo or riley?

Guinea pigs can get maloclusion(sp). Their teeth grow continuously and can cause problems if they are not kept at the right length. Things to help prevent this from happening is making sure your pigs have a continuous hay supply. Try out guinealynx.com in their maloclusion/teeth section to learn a bit more about teeth problems

timothy hay?

I give my piggys tons of timothy hay(and they LOVE IT) is this enough to keep there teeth ok?

That's wonderful, the timothy hay should do the job, as well as their timothy based pellets and veggies. I'm not all together positive, but I believe that it is possible for guinea pigs to have genetic defects with their teeth, so it is always a good idea to watch their eating habits and to check their teeth at least once a month to make sure they are not overgrowing.

Also make sure they have a wooden house or structure (not just chew sticks) in their cage to knaw on for their incisors.
