I'm looking into making Kiada a bigger cage and I would like to use these kinds of cubes as the floor. Right now I'm using fleece but she is fully litter trained so i have no worries of accidents. My only concern is that her nails (even though they are trimmed) may get caught in the cube's if she digs in to deep when she starts running around. Just wanted to know if anyone had used these before and if they work well. Thanks

I've seen people use these for the bottom of the cage. I use coroplast but if you can't find it these should work. Will you be using your fleece of top of it? If so, it should be fine

These should be fine provided you lay a plastic sheet or old plastic/vinyl
shower curtain over it to prevent the urine from soaking thru it as urine can penetrate thru fleece.

You still need something between the fleece and those foam pieces to make the fleece wick properly.
