i have 2 boars. they are 8 weeks and 10 weeks...i have been giving them timothy hay and they love it but i heard that you should give babies alfalfa(sry if it is spelt wrong)hay...is it ok to continue to give them timothy hay?

Pregnant and Lactating Sow's plus their babies need a lot of Alfalfa hay. But both babies and mom's can have Timothy Hay as well.

Just don't feed the adults Alfalfa hay... it's not good for them... only when they're babies. ;)

You should feed them a mix of Alfalfa and Timothy hay until they are about 4-6 months old, then you need to switch to just Timothy hay. If you feed an excess of Alfalfa products, it may cause kidney stones, because of the high amounts of calcium.
