I currently have a 2x4 cage but I'd like to expand to a 2x5. How much coroplast do I need to add on? I've read on here that I can tape it together with clear packing tape. Should I just buy a 4x8 sheet? The store in San Diego sells that for about 15 bucks, as I found out on the search Where Did you Find your materials.

You would probably need to add about 15" or so. I've always had better luck just re-cutting the coroplast and putting new in. Taping together always turns into a nightmare for me.

Good luck!

I just got back from the local sign store and I got a 4x8 sheet for 19.91. I'm thinking I will just cut and score the new sheet and use that for the 2x5 instead of taping. It seems easier, and then I can use my old to make a litter box (maybe) or create storage boxes like these that I've been eyeing: https://www.guineapigcages.com/photos/showphoto.php/photo/968/cat/fav
