There really is no certain age. It depends on the size of the guinea pig. If they can't fit their head through the holes then it should be safe to un-do the baby proofing.
I guess before I get my GPs, I really need to make it as all proof.
As in the country-side, predators love them which make me worry.
So I need to make a really secure one.
I am ordering my grids but also will be getting tiny snake proof wire too even for indoor.
I don't think she's going to house her guinea pigs out doors. She said she has to snake proof it even for indoors.
Yes, I did read that. She also mentioned that there are a lot of predators in the countryside, which is why I wasn't sure...
