So far I've decided to make a 3x3 since that is what I have room for. I want to make a 1x3 loft in the back of the cage. But I need to close it off since I have cats, and we baby sit a 3 year old that loves being around them, and I dont trust him when I'm in school.

So my questions are, how can I go about it, and still be able to access the parts of the cage So I can clean? also, what angle should the ramp be on? I dont want it to be to steep.

Thank you!

You can build a top with grids that are connected by zip ties so that they can pivot and open. Some people also use wire shelving that you can get at home depot. Look in the photo gallery for enclosed multi-level for some ideas.
