Hello everyone. I am new to the guinea pig community as well as a new guinea pig mommy! 
I brought Pinky home Aug. 26 and I think she is awesome. I'm soaking up as much info as i can online and Pinky is also teaching me alot too. I am also getting alot of information from this forum also. It has really been helpful. She seems to be happy and healthy. Thats what counts right? Anyway, she does one thing that im not sure is normal. When i take her out of her cage she immediately climbs up to my shoulder. She seems to prefer it there so i leave her alone. Do other guineas do this? I plan on adopting another female soon so Pinky can have a cage mate. Well, thank for reading this.
