Fighting Piggies

Chip and Fred have lived together for almost a year now. Everything has been fine. Until a couple days ago I noticed they started squeeking at each other alot more and pushing thier noses up at each other. Then today a fight broke out. There were shavings everywhere and the pigloo went flying in the air. They both ran to opposite corners of the cage and just chattered their teeth at each other. The entire incident lasted maybe 30 seconds and noone was hurt. It was just the first time I had ever seen them do that.

Do you think I should seperate them for a while? Or will it all work out?

Re: Fighting Piggies

Don't seperate them unless there is blood shed. If you seperate them it with only confuse them. Make sure the cage is large enough and that there is two of everthing in the cage (water bottle, food bowl, hidey houses).

Hopefully they just had a little misunderstand and it was a one time spat.
