I have a 2 by 3 grid C&C cage for my boy Duncan. I have decided that I want to add a level. I drew up a draft of my idea in a 3D design program. That is pictured at the end of the post. The reason the two front level grids look different, is because that is my lid that I cannot build a second level on top of or else I will lose access to the bottom level. I am wondering:
1. How possible is it to have this second level work out?
2. What steps should I take so it is safe?
3. What is the best ramp material?
4. Any other tips and ideas for me.

If you're going to use bent grids for the ramp, you would need 3 grids for the ramp to come down. If you're going to use a drainage tube or something else, you could probably do it in two. If you can, I would make it a 1x3 going across the back, and have the ramp coming down on of the ends.

I'd look at the pictures in the photo galleries plenty of people have full second levels and can still access the bottom level you just need a door.
