Hi, I've seen the fleece "flooring" in the cages. Do the pigs pee/poo on the fleece or do they stick to a certain area?

Some do, some don't. I have semi-litter trained pigs that hardly ever pee on the fleece. They do, however, poo whereever they please. Mainly in the litterbox, thank goodness.

I suggest using fleece and then a medium size second nature dog litter pan (with carefresh) with a hayrack over it. This is the best solution I have found.

My piggies tend to poop the most when sleeping in their pigloos. I also have cat litter boxes that my boys love to eat their hay in. I have to wash it out daily because they pee in it some. They do pee on the fleece mostly.

Can guinea pigs be potty trained?

Some can. Mostly for peeing only. With the 5 pigs I have had, 3 (all girls) seem to understand that they need to potty in the box. They still only do it when they want. The two boys I had don't seem to get the picture. lol
