Hi all, I am just about to set up a 2x4 (10.5sq feet) or 2x5 (13.3sq feet) C&C cage for my 2 little cavies - Paprika and Peanut - and I have a question regarding the lid.... I have seen the following pic on https://www.guineapigcages.com/images/mom3.jpg and I was wondering how to attached the PVC piping into the cage as support for the lid/roof. Any ideas?

Any help would be much appreciated ;)

I have 2 pvc supports in my 2X4 cage. I use grids on the top of my cage and I just cut slits in the top of the pvc pipe with a saw. I made sure and cut the pvc pipe about a 1/4 of an inch taller than the height of the cage so that when I put the pvc pipe in it is wedged in and the piggies can't move it. I will try to take some pictures tomorrow so you can see what I mean. It works great.

I just uploaded some pictures into my gallery of the supports. I took a close up of the end where I cut the slits. I hope this helps.
