I was thinking of making my cage have a second story. It would actually be three but the bottom level is for storage only and the pigs can't get to it. I don't mind making my cage taller at all, the only issue I have is, would it be hard to clean?
The cage would have a 3x3 level and then a 2x3 upper level for the cavies to explore. It would be open (I don't have a cat and my dog is a corgie, corgies have short legs ) and it would give them more room. I also plan on using fleece. All things considered do you think it would be difficult to keep tidy? I plan on spot cleaning at least once a day, probably more likely to be twice a day, and then clean the whole thing once a week or sooner if needed (Changing fleece, cleaning choroplast, etc.) If any of you have a similar cage or changed from a one level to a two level then I would appreciate any help, tips, or advice. Thanks!
