Hello! I have a dilema. Nw, let me explain. I am getting a 2x4 for my birthday in less then a month but until then, Chex and Chester are in seperate pet stoee cages. Chex's is a little big, but Chesters is very small. So his cage gets wet and soiled fast, and makes him smelly. Any tips on how to keep the cage as dry as possible? I have newspaper, Carefresh, and dryed pine. Any tips on combinations on any or all or some of these that would hwlp it stay dry?

My Peanut is also in a pet store cage awaiting his C&C. What I do is a layer of wash cloths folded in fourths topped by a layer of fleece. I have to clean out the poops daily, and wash the bedding every 2-3 days. It will lesson once I get the larger cage up and going. For now that seems to help and I don't have any problem unless I put off the cleaning until next morning.
