Hi all

Just opened a bag of hay that I bought from the garden center yesterday, and it has what I can only describe as 'little spikes' from some kind of thistle or nettle. It had a big clump of stalks in it, which seemed to be where the spiky bits were coming from so I pulled them all out, but obviously I can't guarantee I got them all. Is it ok for the piggies and my rabbits to eat this?

It could be alfalfa hay mixed in. Just screen their hay for it daily. Alfalfa has a thistle-y look to it.
