My guinea pigs’ ears are raised? Why? Are they mongrels? I’ve seen different pictures of guinea pig on the web and I noticed that their ears hang down.

Mongrels? Pretty much all guineas are mixed breeds. Not really the correct word.

Our 5 guineas all have various different ear types:

Its all just natural variation.
