I have been using fleece and a mattress pad protector for the bedding of my cage but it was a hassle putting both layers in each time I washed the stuff (2 times a week).
So last week I took them out of the dryer and I sewed the 2 together! It is working great! I also sewed down the middle a few times and it is just like a big fleece quilt and there is only 1 step to my cleaning of the cage now not putting down 2 layers and making sure everything is secure.
