I don't know when exactly, but when I went to feed the piggies this morning, Ichibod was laying on his side on the floor. I've had him and Herbie in an open topped pin, as I normally do, and some how he managed to get down out from his cage. There are poo beans all over the floor so that tells me he'd been able to run around for a while.

He'd been sick for a while, from what I can tell, as he'd lost over half his
body weight a year ago and the vet hadn't been able to help tell me why.

If he'd injured himself getting down from the table that his pin was on, that may have contributed to it as well.

Thank you all.

I was able to bury him near a nice strawberry patch in the yard this afternoon.

I did notice while I was holding him that he had a broken tooth, so I do think that once he got out of his pen that he may have taken a fall off the table that it was on and landed badly.

I gave him a piece of corn to lay with, since that was one of his favorites.
