You can get cable ties just about anywhere. Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, Home Depot, Radio Shack, Lowe's.....

Usually someplace like Home Depot will have larger packs and it is less for a big pack than the smaller packs. My Home Depot carries black, clear and colored cable ties, also various sizes.

I was planning on adding another level to my C&C cage and I have enough grids but not enough connectors. Can I just use cable ties instead?

Absolutely! I use zip ties on my cages even with connectors, it just helps stablize everything and nothing will come apart if you move it. I just added a 1x2 deck to the cage Sirius is in, it is up with zip ties...not a single connector.

You can do anything with a roll of duct tape and a bag of zip ties

u can find them in electronic shops too...

Last time I was in Target, they had a pack of about 50 of them, many different sizes, for around 5 dollars. It was near the car supplies section - they had another container almost exactly the same size but it was different bungee cords.

Dollar General sells them for $1.00 for a pack of 40. I buy all that are on the shelf everytime I go in there.

i got a pack of 300 multi colored cable ties in a clear plastic reusable jar for $5. I thought THAT was a good deal.

If you have a dollar store near by they should have em too. I got mine at dollar general. You get 40 for one dollar.

Woohoo. I get them free from my dads work. He brings home like 100 every month (I don't think he realises that I don't need them anymore)
