Maya passed away tonight

My older girl Maya passed away tonight. She'd been sick since Friday, and we had her on antibiotics and pain meds, but she only got worse. She died tonight just as I was getting ready to feed her. At least she was on my lap and being snuggled and loved on. We'll miss her, and her housemates don't quite know what to do with themselves. They're hiding in their houses and look confused.

We miss you, Maya. You were the sweetest girl.

I'm very sorry to hear that Maya had to go, especially in such unfortunate circumstances. All I can say is to hang in there, even though I know it's hard. RIP Maya.

Earl, she was almost 7. We adopted her from my bf's brother and sister in law in August, so we only had her for 6 months, but we got to babysit her and her first cage mate (Mocha who died last spring) and she was already like a guinea-niece to us.

I am so sorry for your loss. R.I.P Maya.

Her piggy soul has gone to rainbow bridge to munch on veggies and play with the other pigs. No sickness nor sadness will enter her life. She will now live up there happily.

I hope you begin to feel better.
