Hope, my most colorful cavy, was put to sleep on the 22nd of Febuary, 2007. She was the most social of all the girls, and suddenly got sick. We had to put her to sleep because she was really hurting. Even though she was limp and barely breathing, I could still hear her trying to squeak when the vet looked her over.

Hope, you will be dearly missed.

I dug up a pigture of her from my vast amounts of images. This is her when we got home. The vet put a rose in the box, and strangely enough, she didn't try to make us spend five hundred dollars on saving her, because there wasn't much that could be done.

She looks so peaceful now...

Hope really does look peaceful in the box. She looks just like my Baby, who passed away recently as well. I'm sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. Your vet is very generous.
Hope looks so peaceful next to her rose.
