Thanks to all at this site for all of your helpful posts! I have read and reread the info here and even found the Critter Connection in CT where I finally adopted my two girls. They are about 4 months old and quite skittish right now. They hide out in their igloo most of the day

But they do like being held.

Thanks! They are very sweet and I just think they are so pretty! But I am a bit biased, as they are my first guinea pigs

Thanks. I drove all the way! I went down w/my 4 and 6 yr olds. It took over 2 hrs to get there, about 40 mins there hanging with the piggies, a drive-thru lunch and a quick stop for gas then home... we were gone about 6.5 hours! It was all worth it though! Cindy was great and I am so glad we adopted from a rescue!
