Meshed Cubes

I am going to make a larger cage for my rabbits and am going to use the cubes. I found them cheaper at Bed Bath and Beyond but the are NOT Meshed Cubes. Does anyone know if this makes a difference.

Most people use the regular cubes for rabbit condos
